SMC’s Film Club showcased their fall semester student film festival on December 5th, 2019 at the Center for Media and Design auditorium. This biannual event marked the Film Club’s commitment to fostering student collaboration at Santa Monica College.

Film submissions in the festival were no longer than 15 minutes and selected from current SMC students and alumni. The majority of projects that garnered awards were originally pitched in earlier Film Club meetings. Small production groups of 5-8 students were formed to produce these projects over the remainder of the semester.
